Owning a Jaguar After Production Ended: Service, Warranty, Parts and Recalls

Jaguar has built its last car of the current generation. If you drive an F-PACE, E-PACE, I-PACE, F-TYPE or XF, here is what still applies to your car, what changed, and what nobody can promise yet.

The short answer

Yes, you can still get your Jaguar serviced, repaired and covered. Jaguar's US ownership FAQ states that its service network remains fully operational and that there will be no disruption to warranty, extended warranty or service plans. Scheduled maintenance, roadside assistance, software updates and InControl Remote and Protect continue to be supported, and open recalls are still repaired free. What Jaguar has not published is a specific number of years for parts availability, so be wary of anyone who quotes one.

What ended, and when

Jaguar wound down its lineup in stages as it prepared to relaunch as an electric-only brand. The dates matter because they tell you which model year is the last of each car, which affects everything from parts demand to resale.

Retailers across the country are still selling the remaining new inventory; Carscoops' July 2026 count found most of it is F-PACE, the model built longest. Anything new on a lot today is one of those final units, not a car that can be ordered from the factory.

What continues for current owners

Jaguar answered the main owner questions directly in its US ownership FAQ. The commitments below are quoted or closely paraphrased from that page.

Service network

Jaguar states that "the Jaguar Service Network remains fully operational." Retailer service departments, including ours at the Jaguar certified service center in Tysons, continue to handle scheduled maintenance, diagnostics and repairs.

Warranty and service plans

"There will be no disruption to your warranty, extended warranty and/or service plan." Coverage runs to its original terms regardless of when production ended.

Maintenance and roadside

Scheduled maintenance and roadside assistance continue to be supported, alongside InControl Remote and Protect connected services.

Recalls

Safety recalls do not expire when a model stops being built. Open campaigns, including the I-PACE battery campaigns, are still repaired at no cost. Check any VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

The coverage you have, in one table

Jaguar's new-vehicle coverage in the US is sold as Jaguar EliteCare. It is tied to the car, measured from its original in-service date, so a later-model F-PACE bought from remaining stock gets the full term from the day it is first registered.

CoverageTermWhat it means in practice
New Vehicle Limited Warranty5 years or 60,000 milesRepairs of covered defects at a Jaguar retailer
Complimentary scheduled maintenance5 years or 60,000 milesFactory-scheduled service at no charge during the term
24/7 roadside assistance5 years or 60,000 milesTowing and roadside help nationwide
I-PACE high-voltage battery8 years or 100,000 milesRedeemable if battery state of health drops below 70%
Corrosion (perforation)6 years, unlimited milesRust perforation of the bodywork
Jaguar Approved Certified Pre-Owned "One year / unlimited miles or a two year / 100,000 miles (whichever comes first)," starting when the new-car warranty ends; the term depends on the vehicle No deductible, transferable, with 24/7 roadside assistance; ask which term applies to a specific car

Figures come from Jaguar's EliteCare and certified pre-owned pages. Terms can differ by model year, so confirm your own car's in-service date and remaining coverage with our service advisors before assuming anything is covered. Our certified pre-owned program page explains the used-car coverage in more detail.

Fewer retailers: what that means if yours closes

Jaguar has been shrinking its US retailer network ahead of the relaunch. In August 2026, Jaguar North America brand director Brandon Baldassari told Test Miles, "we've gone from about 200 retailers to about 80 retailers." Some former sales franchises have kept servicing Jaguars after giving up new-car sales.

Your questionThe answer
Can any Jaguar retailer do my warranty or recall work? Yes. Jaguar's FAQ states that "retailers will continue to service Jaguar Vehicle products, honor any warranty claims and provide software updates." Coverage is not tied to the store where you bought the car.
How do I find one that services Jaguars? Jaguar's US retailer locator filters by "Service Repair," "Electric Vehicle Service Repair," "Bodyshop" and "Parts Only," separate from sales locations.
What about I-PACE high-voltage work? Use the locator's "Electric Vehicle Service Repair" filter. Our Tysons service department has EV-certified technicians on site.

If the Jaguar store you used elsewhere in Northern Virginia has closed or stopped selling new cars, your warranty and service history follow the car, and our Tysons service department can pick up scheduled maintenance, recall work and warranty repairs.

Parts: what is known and what is not

This is where owners are most likely to hear confident claims with nothing behind them.

QuestionWhat we can say
Are genuine Jaguar parts available today? Yes. Retailer parts departments, including our Jaguar parts department, order genuine parts through Jaguar's supply network.
For how many years will parts be available?Jaguar has not published a US parts-availability horizon.
Which parts are least likely to be an issue? Routine service items (filters, brakes, wipers, fluids, tires) are high-volume and widely stocked. Many drivetrain components are shared across JLR vehicles still in production, such as the Ingenium four-cylinder engines also used by Land Rover, which helps.
Where could waits get longer over time? Model-specific body panels, trim and interior pieces, which are produced in smaller volumes. Collision repairs on low-volume models such as the F-TYPE are the most likely to involve longer lead times.

The practical takeaway: keep the car maintained on schedule (you can schedule Jaguar service online), fix small problems before they become large ones, and use a Jaguar retailer for anything that needs a model-specific part, because retailers have direct access to Jaguar's parts catalogue and warranty process.

Software updates and connected services

Modern Jaguars depend on software for everything from infotainment to battery management. Jaguar's FAQ states that "updates will be sent to your vehicle as they become available," including the latest anti-theft measures, and that InControl Remote and Protect continue to be supported.

Over-the-air updates

Accept updates when your car offers them. Some recall remedies, including the interim I-PACE fix in campaign 26V-067, can be delivered over the air.

Updates at service visits

Some updates still need a retailer's diagnostic equipment. Ask at each visit whether anything is pending for your VIN.

Connected subscriptions

Remote app and connected features continue, but Jaguar's subscription terms still require a paid renewal once the initial subscription period ends.

I-PACE owners have the most at stake here, because battery management is software-controlled and the current recall remedies depend on it. Our I-PACE battery guide lists every open battery campaign and what each one requires.

Should you buy, keep or sell now?

End of production changes the calculation in a few specific ways, none of which is a reason to panic.

If you are keeping it

Nothing about your warranty or service access has changed. Stay on the maintenance schedule and keep records, which support both warranty claims and resale. Our guide to Jaguar reliability by model covers what to watch on each car.

If you are buying new

Remaining new stock carries the full EliteCare term from its in-service date. Carscoops reported in July 2026 that final inventory was being discounted nationally, so compare the price against a certified pre-owned alternative before deciding.

If you are buying used

Certified pre-owned adds coverage beyond the factory warranty and a 165-point inspection. For an I-PACE, run the VIN through the NHTSA recall lookup before you commit.

What comes next for Jaguar

Jaguar has not stopped being a car company. Its next model, the Type 01, is an all-electric four-door grand tourer, the production version of the Type 00 concept. Jaguar is holding the full reveal in New York on October 6, 2026, as reported by Carwow in August 2026, and Autocar India has reported arrival in global markets in the first half of 2027. Pricing, specifications and US delivery dates have not been officially confirmed. We will update this page after the reveal rather than repeat unconfirmed figures.

For current owners, the relaunch matters mainly because it keeps Jaguar retailers in business, and with them the factory-trained technicians and diagnostic equipment your car depends on. Our team, profiled in meet our Jaguar master technicians, services every Jaguar in the current and recent lineup.

Ownership questions

Can I still get my Jaguar serviced now that production has ended?

Yes. Jaguar states that its service network remains fully operational, and retailers continue to perform scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, warranty repairs and recall work on every current and recent Jaguar model.

Is my Jaguar warranty still valid?

Yes. Jaguar says there will be no disruption to warranty, extended warranty or service plans. EliteCare coverage runs its original 5-year or 60,000-mile term from the car's in-service date, and the I-PACE battery warranty runs 8 years or 100,000 miles.

How long will Jaguar parts be available?

Jaguar has not published a specific parts-availability period for the US. Genuine parts are available through retailers today, and routine service items and components shared with other JLR vehicles are the least likely to become scarce.

Is Jaguar going out of business?

No. Jaguar ended its previous lineup to relaunch as an all-electric brand. Its first new model, the Type 01, is scheduled to be revealed in New York on October 6, 2026, according to automotive press reports, with reported arrival in global markets in the first half of 2027.

Will my Jaguar still get software updates?

Jaguar states that updates will continue to be sent to vehicles as they become available, including anti-theft measures, and that InControl Remote and Protect remain supported. Connected services still require renewal after the initial subscription period.
